Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is a method of religious formation drawn from the Montessori form of education. This method is rooted in Sacred Scripture and the tradition and Liturgy of the Catholic Church. The religious values of contemplation, enjoyment of God, and personal relationship are fostered in both the child and the adult in a prepared environment called the Atrium. The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd serves children ages 3-12 in our Tri-Parish Faith Formation and at St. Croix Catholic School.
We are in need of individuals willing to serve the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. These individuals would attend formation courses as moral and practical preparation for their time in the atrium. Each of the three levels of formation requires approximately 12 days of courses. The full cost of your formation will be covered for those who are able to commit *2 years of service in an atrium as a catechist or assistant. Assistants do not need to attend formation but are required to attend an orientation. If you are interested, please complete the form below.
*We understand that circumstances of life can fluctuate. We ask that these 2 years be completed within a 4-year time period.
