Wednesday Study friends
Our first study is 8 sessions: Sept 11, 18, 25 and Oct 2, 9, 16, 23, 29.
We will study the The Letter of Pope John Paul II to Women. This letter uses scripture with references from several other papal documents to underline the reasons why our faith holds true to what it professes about the role of women. It teaches the very basis of our faith and will help answer fundamental questions. Below is a description sent from Molly Druffner who will be leading our discussion. This is our most popular and foundation study for women first experiencing Endow. Answering many questions for modern Catholic women, this letter, written for the occasion of the 1995 Fourth United Nations Conference on Women, acquaints us with the thought of John Paul II and is a good introduction to the Christian concept of women and her indispensable role in the Church, the family, society, and the world.
