The Stillwater Catholic Worker Community meets the first and third Fridays of every month at 7:00 p.m. for evening prayer, potluck soup supper and discussion. Often times we have speakers, special music and poetry readings. We are inspired by the life and teaching of Dorothy Day and are committed to the practice of both the spiritual and corporal "Works of Mercy." Our two local homes of hospitality, Solanus Casey and Our Lady Queen of Peace House, have provided Christian love, shelter, safety and support to those in need for over 15 years.
Our next gathering is September 21 at the Peace House. We will be joined by Buff Grace, Episcopal Pastor at Ascension in Stillwater who will speak on Community Outreach and Social Justice. All are invited and warmly welcomed to these Friday evening gatherings!
